56 new companies arrive in Guanajuato

Two years after the current administration, the Secretariat for Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), through the strategy of attracting investment , has managed to attract more than 2,182 million dollars in investment , which represents 26,400 new jobs .

Mauricio Usabiaga Díaz Barriga, secretary of the SDES, declared that Guanajuato  maintains the confidence of national and foreign investors, which is reflected in the expansions and new investments that have been made in the State, reaching a 43% advance of the established goal for the current government administration.

The 56 new projects have been installed both within the industrial corridor and outside it as well as in the municipalities of Ocampo, Valle de Santiago, Ciudad Manuel Doblado, Villagrán, Doctor Mora, and San Miguel de Allende , which contributes to generating more balanced development in the entity.

Some of the projects that have expressed their confidence in Guanajuato are: Pirelli, Pepsico, Continental Automotive, Agrícola Zaratini, Webasto, Kromberg & Schubert, GKN Sinter Metals, Novatec, ZKW, Ethan Allen, Borg Warner .

Through the SDES  , the objective is to continue generating the best conditions for more and more investments to reach the region, contributing to the economic reactivation and the generation of more jobs that promote a better quality of life for the families of Guanajuato .
