Jabil begins construction of a new plant in Chihuahua; will invest 336 million dollars

As part of continuing to expand its operations in Mexico, Jabil began construction of its third production plant in the city of Chihuahua and the fifth in the region.
The company recently announced its investment projects in the country, which will be generating employment and developing national talent, and for the laying of the first stone of this manufacturing complex they will be investing 336 million dollars.
The new operation of the company will take place in the Carolina Industrial Park , where other outstanding companies such as Bell are located . The plant will have more than 250,000 square feet of surface, it is planned to be operating by April 2023; and in the next four years it is generating more than 8,000 direct jobs to supply the operational growth of customers in industries such as the automotive, energy, transportation, medical devices, print and retail industries .
During the laying of the first stone, Steven Cheung, vice-president of operations, and Anatoliy Mikula, vice-president of operations at the Latin American level, were present.
