During the last four months of 2020, commercial transactions of exporting companies in Jalisco reached 5,652 million dollars , which represents a rebound of 5.6% compared to the same period of 2019, when exports were for an amount of 5,351 million dollars. dollars .

The above information was presented by the Government of Jalisco , which highlighted that these figures include the amount for manufacturing exports, mining, agricultural exports, breeding and export of animals .

The main exporting subsector of the region, during the fourth quarter of 2020, was the manufacturing of computer, communication, measurement equipment and other electronic equipment, components and accessories ; with an export value of 3.092 million dollars , which represents 54.70% of the total exports of the entity in this period.

The manufacture of computer equipment, communication, measurement and other electronic equipment, components and accessories in Jalisco, contributed with 14.86% of the national exports of this subsector.

The second subsector with the greatest dynamism in sales during the fourth quarter of 2020 in Jalisco was the beverage and tobacco industry, which reached exports with a value of 572 million dollars, which represents 10.13% of the entity's total.

During the first quarter of 2020, the state's exports amounted to 5,035 million dollars, those of the second quarter to 4,321 million dollars, 4,965 those of the third quarter and 5,652 million dollars those of the last quarter .

In total, during 2020 Jalisco exported 19.974 million dollars, and the data shows a rebound in the last two quarters of the year, after the decline in exports in the second quarter caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
