Reaffirming its confidence in the region, the manufacturer of air conditioning equipment, Lennox, announced its third plant's opening in Ramos Arizpe. The company, located in the Amistad Industrial Park, expects to complete the expansion work by the fourth quarter of this year.

The generation of jobs will be a plus that Lennox will provide to the community in these difficult times due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The company's current factories produce gas and electronic heating systems, so it does not rule out implementing new operations in the franchise.

The company arrived in 2008 in the Southeast Region of Coahuila. Since then, it has been a benchmark in the manufacturing industry for all the amenities they provide to their employees, whom they qualify as an essential part in achieving their goals.

According to data provided by the company, the third plant will have an area of 325,000 square feet for production lines and additional space for administrative offices.

The president and CEO of Lennox, Todd Bluedorn, was happy about the announcement and stated that they hope to continue contributing with the region's people to boost the economic development of the area. In addition, they expect to expand the customer portfolio and to be able to bring the manufacture of new products to Ramos Arizpe.

Finally, the company's executive affirmed that the facilities granted by state authorities have allowed the company to carry out its activities for almost 13 years, with a qualified workforce, a large supply chain, and security.

The new Lennox plant joins recent inaugurations and investment announcements in Ramos Arizpe, such as those of Daimay Automotive, Sanhua Mexico, among others.
