On March 2, the air operation of the TUM Aerocarga company began at the Quetzalcóatl International Airport of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.

According to the administrative coordination at the local level of Airports and Auxiliary Services (ASA), it is a flight with Bombardier CRJ200 equipment, which will fly to this border on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on the route: Toluca, Reynosa, Nuevo Laredo, Guadalajara, Toluca.

On the first flight that landed, 660 kilos of cargo were transferred to Nuevo Laredo.

Together with TUM, the company Mantenimiento y Equipo de Baja California (MEBC) will arrive in Nuevo Laredo, which will provide the ramp and maintenance service.

CONSOLIDED CHARGE

TUM Aerocarga is a Mexican cargo airline owned by MCS Holding Cargo Services and Grupo TUM.

TUM serves Federal Express's consolidated cargo movement and estimates it will move between 500 kilos and one ton of cargo per flight.

The arrival of this company to Nuevo Laredo represents an increase in ASA's income, due to the operation itself and diversification of the movement of cargo across this border. In addition, the rental of office space and spaces for the ramp equipment is being considered.

With the arrival of TUM in Nuevo Laredo, it is expected to diversify the freight transport of the region, since in this border city the transport by land was predominant.
