Nissan reaffirmed its commitment to the market with an investment of more than 700 million dollars in Mexico over the next three years.

At the same time, it will help make Nissan even more competitive by improving the speed of its operations and implementing the latest technologies . With more than 60 years of manufacturing operations in Mexico, Nissan has built a history full of tradition and innovation. As of 2021, it was the market leader in both vehicle production and sales in Mexico , and is one of the top four sales markets globally. To date, it has sold more than six million vehicles in Mexico , with a total of 203,918 units delivered to Mexican customers at the end of fiscal year 2021.
NISSAN PRESENT AT THE SAN MARCOS NATIONAL FAIR
With the aim of showing the best combination between technology and human interaction in manufacturing processes , Nissan presented an exhibition at the San Marcos fair that integrates the DNA of Nissan Mexicana .
The company showcased innovative technology used in the vehicles and at its manufacturing plants , including two robots that perform quality inspection tasks. Both robots are equipped with image recognition hardware to perform a series of automated inspections and part traceability in the Nissan Kicks production process .
At the same time, Nissan shows the highlights of its 60 years in Mexico, highlighting innovation, technology and emotion. Iconic brand vehicles such as the Nissan Sentra, Nissan Altima, Nissan Kicks and the new Nissan Frontier V6 PRO-4X are on display at the booth, along with classic units such as the 1966 Datsun Bluebird 411 and the 1968 Datsun Bluebird 521 pick-up .
