Sensata Technologies invests 10 million dollars in Aguascalientes; begins construction of new plant and inaugurates laboratory

Sensata Technologies México will invest 10 million dollars in Aguascalientes for the construction of the new auto parts production plant and will offer 510 job opportunities , especially for engineers and managerial levels.
"Not only does it represent an expansion of our operations in the state, it is an important transformation because more than a manufacturing site we have become a campus that also provides corporate support at a regional and global level in critical areas such as human resources, design, engineering, customer service ”, said Víctor Ramos, general manager of Sensata Technologies.
Since the beginning of the company, in 1984, they have demonstrated their trust and commitment to Aguascalientes, being one of the companies that employs the most people in the state, which reflects the dynamism and growth of the entity.
“We don't just make products, we help the world make a safer, cleaner, more electrified and connected place. They have been in this state for 30 years, and without a doubt it has been one of the group's most important locations and has had an outstanding performance ”, he added.
NEW SPECIALIZED LABORATORY
In addition, the company inaugurated the Specialized Laboratory that will promote the creation of new technologies to provide global support to the areas of design, human resources and engineering.
"The building will be self-sustaining and will use clean energy, so its activities will be friendly to the environment, all vegetation will continue to generate oxygen, taking into account that the structure will respect the vegetation of the place," said Yann Etienvre, vice president of Operations and Sensata Technologies Supply Chain.
The auto parts company invited Martín Orozco Sandoval, state governor, and state authorities to the inaugural event and the foundation stone. In his speech, the state president highlighted that the company Sensata will privilege that job vacancies favor the hiring of women, creating a better social and family environment.
"The state government and higher and higher education institutions will continue working so that this industry continues to be a factor of economic development for the entity, but also to maintain its competitiveness in the global market thanks to qualified human capital," he concluded.
