Tecmur invests 10 million dollars to expand its Coahuila plant

Tecmur confirmed a new investment of 10 million dollars in Matamoros, Coahuila .
This capital injection announcement is for the company to carry out its plant expansion project, which will have an additional 10 hectares of land with all services, which will generate 300 new jobs.
José Antonio Murra Giacoman, General Director of Tecmur, explained that this business was founded in the 80s and it is a business that has been based on technology, through casting and machining processes , they have also been dedicated to build transportation equipment, gas, oil and others , to supply customers in the United States and recently in China and India.
He added that they also make parts for tractors, air conditioning systems that will begin to be manufactured in 2024 and 2026, and they have been one of the two best national John Deere suppliers .
"Our greatest pride is that it is a company of lagoons, we have people from Tecnológico de Monterrey and other universities in the region among our ranks," he said.
It should be noted that of the total of new jobs, they already have approximately 166 employees, who are being trained to be part of the machining production pair.
The expansion of the plant is expected to be inaugurated between August and September of this 2021.
