The region has universal access to high quality comprehensive health services that meet the needs of the population in health promotion and disease prevention as well as the development of well-trained professionals in the various branches of medicine for the proper development of citizen care.
DELICIAS SUB-REGION
52% of the region's population is affiliated with the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), followed by 24% in the Popular Insurance.
CAMARGO SUB-REGION :
The medical service with the largest number of members is Seguro Popular with 47.2% of the population, followed by IMSS with 31.7%.
JIMÉNEZ SUB-REGION J:
The Seguro Popular is the highest number of affiliated persons with 53% of the total, on the other hand 5.1% of the population lacks medical attention (approximately 2,512 people).

DELICIAS SUB-REGION
In the year 2015, 157,448 tourists came to the region, 28% more than in 2010.
The number of available hotel rooms has increased by 15% in the period 2010-2015. It has 610 rooms available as of June 2016.
In 2015, the region presented an economic revenue from tourism of 315 million pesos, 28% more than in 2010.
CAMARGO SUB-REGION :
By 2015, 89,978 tourists had come to the region, 23% more than in 2010.
In 2015, the region presented an economic income from tourism of 180 million pesos, 23% more than in 2010.
JIMÉNEZ SUB-REGION J:
By 2015, 68,911 tourists had visited the region, 53% more in comparison to 2010.
In 2015 the region presented an economic spillover through tourism of 138 million pesos, 52% more than in 2010.
