INDUSTRIAL PARKS

More than 140 industrial parks are part of Nuevo León's infrastructure. Some of the most important developers in the state are Stiva, Finsa, Hofusan, Advance, ROCA Desarrollos, GP Desarrollos, Vynmsa, Nexxus, among others.

More than 4,000 foreign companies are located in these parks, mostly in the automotive, appliance, food, and aerospace sectors. Some of these companies are KIA, Denso, Polaris, Panasonic, Magna, Daimler, Iberdrola, Honeywell, Whirlpool, LG, Nidec, Danfoss, Mars, Hershey's, Heineken, Lenovo, Softtek, Jabil, Kohler, Siemens, and Schneider Electric.

It is worth mentioning that Nuevo León has the Research and Technology Innovation Park (PIIT), which has an area of 110 hectares with world-class infrastructure. There are also services where institutions -both public and private- dedicated to R+D+I converge and where technology-based companies are developed.

The road infrastructure of Nuevo León is one of the most solid in the country. Its connectivity allows efficient access to the country's primary air and seaports and cities with a strong industrial and commercial focus in Mexico and the United States.

Railroad transportation is a strategic part of the industrial and commercial supply chain in the state.
Ferromex connects the six main cities (Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes and Chihuahua) and seven ports (Port of Manzanillo, Port of Topolobambo, Port of Guaymas, Port of Puerto Peñasco, Port of Altamira and Port of Tampico).
Meanwhile, Kansas City Southern Mexico serves northeastern and central Mexico and several ports, connecting two border points and exchange points with Ferromex.

INLAND PORT
Interpuerto Monterrey has an industrial park of 1,433 hectares, railroad connectivity, customs inspection, and a Free Trade Zone (Recinto Fiscalizado Estrategico, RFE) with world-class infrastructure. It is a strategic point for trade, logistics, and manufacturing activities in North America.
It is located 180 km away from the border to the United States market. This is where the Kansas City Southern of Mexico and Ferromex railroads converge. The customs section and the RFE (Free Trade Zone) are some other advantages of Interpuerto Monterrey.
